Obituary of Marguerite Key Maxwell

Marguerite Key Maxwell, 84, born February 24, 1936 in Swainboro, Georgia to Cordie and Bertie Tapley and passed away in Winter Haven, Florida on March 25, 2020. 

Marguerite is survived by her husband of 14 years Lee R. Maxwell Sr., duaghter Janet Aldridge (Chuck), son Michael Key, son Scott Key (Julie), granddaughter Amy Kath (Brian), grandson Jason DeVore, great grandson Benjamin Kath, great granddaughter Brenna Kath, sister Marjorie Howard, sister Linda Hill and brother Glen Tapley. She is preceded in death by her late husband Donald Key, sister Bertie Lou Taton, brother Thomas "TD" Tapley, brother Cordie Tapley Jr. and brother Estes Tapley.

Marguerite worked at Heart of Florida for 41 years before retiring. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for over 30 years. She loved and won many trophy's playing tennis and played into her late 70's. Marguerite also enjoyed shopping, camping and loved her sweets, especially chocolate and peanut butter ice cream. She had a little Yorkie named Max that was her baby.
