Obituary of Ronny Lee Hendrix Sr.

Ronny Hendrix, 65, of Bartow, Florida passed away June 24, 2020  with devoted wife by his side. 

Ronny served the community in more ways than one. He was the proud owner of Ronoco Transmissions for 20+ years, a member of First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake and a frequent customer at the Eagle Lake Diner with a smiling face that never met a stranger. Ronny spent his years encouraging his children to chase their dreams, always planning his next hot rod and living life to the fullest. "Big" Ronny was best known for being a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.  He would encourage you to hold your loved ones close, tell them you love them, cherish every moment you have and always be forgiving.

His wife of 47 years, Marie Hendrix; his son, Ronny Lee Hendrix, Jr of Winter Haven, his daughters, Christi Davis (Heath) of Tallahassee and Summer Saliba (Matt) of Winter Haven; his grandchildren Malachi "Chi" Hendrix, Mallory "Mal" Davis and Alexis "Lexi Pooh" Davis; his siblings Patricia "Patty" Villarreal (Joe), James, Danny and Paul Hendrix. 

He was preceded in death by:
His parents, Felton and Dorothy Hendrix of Eagle Lake, Florida. 

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake, 2500 US 17, Eagle Lake, Florida on Saturday, June 27th 2020 at 11:00 AM.
