Obituary of Jon M. Albritton Sr.

Winter Haven, FL – Jon Morton Albritton Sr, 87, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Visitation was held Friday September 4, 2020 at Steele’s Family Funeral Home. A Graveside Service was held Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven, FL. Pastor Jim McKinney from Parkland Baptist Church officiated the service.

Jon was born April 4, 1933 in Avon Park, FL to the late Benjamin Hosea Albritton and Dorothea Mary Leta Morton Albritton. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a member of the Parkland Baptist Church. He retired as a mechanic from the automotive industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Palmer Albritton, sister Mary Leta Albritton Stephens and grandson Zachary Steven Albritton.

Jon is survived by his loving wife Nancy Faye, sons Jon Morton (Rachel) Albritton Jr of Huntsville, AL, Stephen Lamar (Christine) Albritton of Bonaire, GA, and Curtis Lee (Allyson) Blanton of Brandon, FL, and daughters Debra Jean (Clifford) Northrop of East Bend, NC and Patricia Yvette (Dan) Lott of Winter Haven, FL, eight grandsons, two granddaughters, two great grandsons and five great granddaughters.
