Obituary of Rosanne Hernandez

Rosanne Hildman Hernandez, age 76, of Lakeland Florida passed away November 13, 2020, at Lakeland Regional Hospital, Florida from kidney failure.

Rosanne was born on February 22, 1944 in Wesley, Iowa, to John and Florence (Hilbert) Hildman.  She grew up in Wesley and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended Cardinal Stritch in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On September 25, 1982 she married Carlos Hernandez at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Glendale Heights, Illinois.   She worked for many years in Chicago for TWA and American Airlines. She was Eucharistic Minister in her parish for many years.  She made baptismal attire for babies in her parish. She was immensely proud of her daughter, granddaughter and great grandson. She loved to travel especially going on cruises with Carlos and visiting his hometown and family in Costa Rica. Going on walks and seeing the flowers was a favorite pastime. She enjoyed singing and everyone loved her homemade cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed dancing with her husband Carlos.

Rosanne was survived by her husband, Carlos Hernandez, her daughter, Rose Miller of Bedford Texas, granddaughter, Chandler Baze and husband Ryan of Burleson, Texas, great grandson, Jaxon Baze, brothers Gene Hildman and wife Carmen, of Arlington, Texas, Frank Hildman and wife Vicky, of Rochester, Minnesota, Paul Hildman and wife Lois, of Blue Springs, Missouri, sisters Mary Hildman, of Sioux City, Iowa, Esther Nece and husband Jay, of Des Moines, Iowa, Dorie Waldschmidt and husband Dave, of Cylinder, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Hildman.

Funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. on November 18, 2020 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Winter Haven Florida. Funeral will be live streamed from St. Matthew Catholic Church.
