Aunt Lois was very dear and special to me. She was so full of love for her family and friends, never turned her back on anyone and was an inspiration for all that she touched. I loved traveling with Aunt Lois as she was always up for a new experience and ready to have fun. She never seemed to run out of energy and everyone that met Aunt Lois felt instantly connected to her. I will always remember her beautiful smile and her quiet humor. My life has been enriched because Aunt Lois has been part of my journey!!
Randy, Scott and Ryan, sending my love and deepest sympathy to you and your families.
Love,

Grandma,
Jennie, the girls and I will miss you much. You were always there to give an encouraging text, facebook message, or phone call. You took time to be at big life events and you spoiled us with your time and love. I blame our girls starbucks addiction on YOU and the never ending gift card supply. The more time I spent with you the more I realized where dad and subsequently I got our pension for perfection and knack for taking charge. Thank you for showing us how to love your family.
Love,
Andrew

My wife and I always joked that mom would outlive us all. I'm still convinced she would have but for this tragedy. She had shortcomings like all of us, but it was mom who taught me how to look outside myself to my family and my community and commit act of love and kindness. She taught me that everybody deserves a chance and that some people even deserve a second chance. She gave one to me after some wild teenage escapades drew me a long way off course and we've been quite close these last fifteen or twenty years. I miss her. The world was a better place with her in it. May her memory be a blessing.

My condolences to Lois's family. I taught with her in Ft. Madison and was lucky to continue our friendship over the years since then. She was such a wonderful and positive lady, so active and caring.
