Obituary of Aristide Caruso

Aristide (Art) Peter Caruso, 87, gained eternal rest Saturday, June 5th 2021. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, affectionately know as the Silver Fox. He was born December 8, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harry and Olga Caruso. He was married to his loving wife Jill for 31 years. She survives along with son Steve Caruso (Rita); son Devon; daughter Tamara; step-daughter Lindsay Phipps (Kevin); grandchildren, Steve, Jason, Clay, Nicholas, Brandon, Rusty, Kristen, Liam, Kolette; great granddaughter, Emma; and sister Norma Tomley (Albert). He was preceded in death by brother Peter and son Danny.

Art spent 4 years in the Navy and had several sales positions before entering the broadcast radio field. He retired from a very successful broadcast career at 62 and went on to be an entrepreneur from land developing and retail art stores in Ohio, to owning mobile home parks in Florida. He enjoyed golf, painting, fishing and being with friends and family. He was full of life and touched everyone he met with love and grace.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Tuesday, June 15th, at 1pm at Community of Faith United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Heart Association in memory of Art Caruso would be appreciated.
