Obituary of Vera J. Bey

Baby Vera Jeanette Bey

Sunrise March 6 2021 Sunset June 11 2021

Vera passed peacefully in the same home she was born in on June 11, 2021 in Kissimmee, Florida. She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, and cousin. During her short 3 months of life, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family members and friends. She also received much love and care from the NICU staff at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando. A very special thanks to Dr. Anna Sedney, Nurse Christine and, her hospice Nurse Rosa. An even greater thanks to her Aunt Ahava for assisting with catching her at birth and aftercare. During her brief visit on earth, she enjoyed listening to music, massages, and being held close by her parents and loved ones.

She was greeted in heaven by her maternal great-grandparents Crete and Freddie, her paternal great-grandparents Vella “Red” and Edward “Junior”. She is survived by her parents Anukah and Dee Bey, her siblings V’Jay, Vella, Saniya, Jakorey, Khaiya, and Julian. Grand parents Larry, Tanya, Derrick and Brenda, paternal great-grandmother Ernestine, aunts, uncles, great-aunts Jeanette and Vicki, great-uncles, 5 great-great aunts, and a multifold of cousins.

Forever in our memories and hearts she shall remain, as an angel that came down just to visit for just a little while. She was strong, watchful, and most of all miraculous.

Celebration of Life for Vera will be held at a later date with close family members including an Ocean Burial. Special thanks to Steele’s Family Funeral Home in Winter Haven, FL their support and service.
