Obituary of James Messmer

James (Jim) Messmer, 77, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away April 16, 2022 at Forsythe Hospice House. He was born on February 3, 1945 in Halliday, North Dakota to Ed and Leontina Messmer. 

Jim is survived by his wife, Marsha Messmer, son Brent Messmer (Jessica) of Cincinnati, OH, grandchildren Mitchell Messmer, Cincinnati, Paige Messmer, Boston, Alyse Messmer, Cincinnati, Avery Esterkamp, Cincinnati, Chelsey Lindsey (Mark) Cincinnati and great grandson Tyler Sulfridge, sister Betty Iglehart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Amy Lindsey. 

The family will receive friends at Hope Presbyterian Church 2110 Cypress Gardens Blvd., Winter Haven, FL, on April 27, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall. The family will also host a get together in Cincinnati at the Four Seasons Marina sometime in July. TBD.
