Obituary of Glen Aram Gulezian

Dr. Glen A. Gulezian

Dr. Glen A. Gulezian, 79, of Florida, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 1. 2022. He is formerly of Haverhill, MA, the Andovers, and Charlestown, MA before moving to Florida. He grew up in and was educated in Haverhill and joined his father in the practice of optometry while often dedicating his time to the community and local charities. In Andover, he was a managing director of the J. Everett Collins Center for the Performing Arts and Chairperson of the Steeple Restoration Committee of West Parish Church. 

In Florida, Glen’s desire was to be with happy people, so for the past 18 years he worked full time for Walt Disney World and was still working there at the time of his passing. He looked forward to going to work to spend time with his friends and colleagues. He also volunteered his time in Florida as President of his Homeowners’ Association for 18 years.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Paula Mugavero, of Florida, his daughter Amanda and her husband Michael DeBurro of Somerville, MA, his daughter Attorney Erika and her husband Dr. Max Soong of Winchester, MA, and his stepdaughter Dr. Natasha Tokowicz and her husband Dr. Peter Gianaros of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by his four beautiful grand-children Sienna and Violette DeBurro and Xavier and Zachary Soong. 

A celebration of life will be held in Florida at a later date.
