Obituary of William Thomas Merritt

William Merritt, 78, passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Winter Haven, Florida.  He was born in Miami, FL and moved to Winter Haven, FL in 1979.  He proudly served in the Vietnam War with the Air Force and retired from working at Duke Energy after 35 years.  

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jeanine. As well as their two daughters, Amanda and her husband, Jon and Erica and her husband, Robert and two grandsons, Keaton and Cass.  Also, three siblings Wayne, Jackie, and Tessie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church on September 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. the church is located at 104 Scenic Hwy, Haines City, FL 33844.
