Obituary of Gillian Ellis

Mrs. Gillian Ellis, age 83, a resident of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at Lakeland Regional surrounded by her family. Mrs. Ellis was born October 10, 1939 in Harold Wood, Essex, England to Arthur Edward and Irene May (Randall) Lawry. She was a resident of Lake Wales for one year coming from Safety Harbor, Florida where she lived since 1983.  Gillian graduated from Bognor Regis University School of Education.  She was a retired Principal and Teacher for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, crafts, crosswords, puzzles, baking, long walks on the beach and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - William Ellis and brother - John Lawry.  Gillian is survived by her loving family, son - Tim Ellis and wife Michelle of Lake Wales, Florida; daughter - Heidi McDuffie and significant other Stephen of Spring Hill, Florida; sister - Diane Jackaman of England; 3 granddaughters - Lora Ellis, Amanda McDuffie and Kaylee McDuffie.  There are no services scheduled for Mrs. Ellis at this time.
