Obituary of Melba Joyce Artz

Mrs. Melba J. Artz of Haines City FL passed away Saturday, January 7th, 2023. She was 71 years of age and was born in Jackson County, AL on February  21st, 1951.

Sister Melba was a member of Davenport Free Holiness Church. 

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Richard Artz, her daughter Tracy Artz, son Richard (Tank) Artz, and daughter-in-law Kristen Artz, 4 grandchildren Dennis, Luke, Jenna, Audrey, and 2 great-grandsons Dalton and Dylan. Brothers and sisters Bruce, Keith, Bobby, and Paul Holaway, Elaine Depew, Reba Higdon, Angie Holaway,  Becky Holaway and Theresa Holaway-Yankee. As well as a host of nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Bobbie Holaway, sisters Linda Whitaker, and Patricia Yohn, brothers Eddie, Jimmy, and Dennis Holaway. 

Services will be held at Davenport Free Holiness Church 112 South Blvd. East Davenport, FL 33837. Visitation will be Thursday, January 12th from 3 PM To 7 PM and Friday, January 13th at 10 AM with service to follow at 11 AM. We will proceed to the graveside at Forest Hill Cemetary 2646 Grace Ave. Haines City, FL 33844.
