Obituary of Beverly Seagreaves

Beverly Seagreaves passed away on February 1, 2019 in Winter Haven, Fl.  She was born December 13, 1937 in Wheeling, West Virginia.  She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio.  After working for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Beverly graduated from Kent State University with Bachelor and Masters’ degrees in Education and Counseling, with a minor in Music. Beverly was a proficient flutist, serving as first chair at Kent State University Band and Orchestra.  In later years she played recorder in a recorder concert group, performing at various functions throughout the Winter Haven area. She was an alto member of several choirs in Ohio and Florida.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 35 years, George Seagreaves.  They lived for many years in the Swiss Golf and Tennis Community before moving to their home on Lake Howard Dr. in Winter Haven.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Claminza Stewart and by her granddaughter, Emily.  She also is survived by her brother, Jim Stewart of Canton, Ohio and by her daughters, Christine (Paul) Noble of Sacramento, California and Jennifer (Franck) Fourquin of Nacoma, Florida; and her grandsons, Lochlann and Fox Fourquin.

A Celebration of Life for Beverly will be held on Saturday, February 9 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 637 6th Street, Winter Haven, Fl. A reception will follow the service. Internment will follow in the Memorial Garden of the First Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, 626 6th St., Winter Haven, Fl.
