Welcome to Steele's
In light of the recent Coronavirus outbreak, we have taken many measures to help the families we serve. While keeping our funeral homes safe and clean is important, it is equally important to find creative solutions for families who cannot meet with us in person.
As many of our community members are beginning to limit their time in public spaces, we are here to help every family make arrangements from wherever they feel safest and most comfortable. We are prepared to help you make arrangements online, via video call or over the phone, or meet at a location of your choice. We will make any adjustments necessary to accommodate you and your family — today and always.
We will continue to be available to you and our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have any questions, please call us today at (863) 658-4567. We are here for you.
From your Funeral Director
A Letter to My Community Family,
At Steele’s Family Funeral Services, we are community centered. We pride ourselves on our staff's dedication to community outreach. We support many churches, charities and civic organizations, and most of our programs are free of charge.
We continually strive to be one of the leaders in the funeral industry. We do this by offering the greatest value and personal attention to the families we serve in the Polk County community. Our staff provides personal service in a compassionate manner to every family.
With a long-standing reputation for excellence, our goal is to assist you in creating a meaningful celebration that honors your loved one. We understand that no two families are the same, and therefore the needs and funeral services for each family are not the same. Our goal is to leave you with memories of your loved one that will never be forgotten, with receptions and services as beautiful and unique as the individuals they honor.
We understand making final arrangements can be extremely stressful and we are here to ease your burden. Our caring staff believes that our work is not a job, rather a calling, and it is with this special calling that families feel welcomed and comfortable at Steele’s. I invite you to stop by to see what makes us so different.
We are passionate about caring for Veterans and their families and want to ensure they receive all of the military benefits available to them. Whether you want traditional burial, cremation, or placement in a national cemetery, our specialists will walk you step-by-step through the process to receive all the benefits you deserve.
Preplanning your funeral arrangements – cremation or traditional burial – takes the burden and stress off your loved ones. Our professional Family Service Advisors can help provide peace of mind and ensure that your final wishes are known.
