Born Dec. 01, 1944 in Danville, IL to Kenneth Edgar Blue and Eleanor Adelle Wester

Died Sept. 27, 2022

Preceded in death by both of his parents and brothers Kenneth and Jere Blue

Survived by his sisters Betty Carr and Barbara Davey and his children Robert and Michael Blue and nine grandchildren and his friend and partner Aurelia "Royal" Sullivan 

Served in the Army at Fort Knox during the Vietnam War

Spent his career as a Conductor on the Illinois Central railroad

Loved animals (maybe a bit more than people)

Loved talking about cars, driving and fixing them

Loved to work on pretty much everything he could. Was a very hands on guy around the house and his property

Loved reading books and watching programs about physics and astronomy
