Obituary of Merrill R. Franklin Sr.

Mr. Merrill Richard Franklin, Sr., age 90, passed away peacefully at Water's Edge in Lake Wales, Florida on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Mr. Franklin was born in Lakeview, New York on November 12, 1929, to Edward and Gladys Franklin, and spent most of his childhood in Stockton, New York. He enlisted in the US Navy and served during the Korean War. He was a former employee of Yarnall-Waring in Philadelphia and Wyeth Laboratories in Malvern, Pennsylvania. He is predeceased by his wife, Frances Privitera Franklin and Alyce Revell Franklin. He is survived by his brother, Donald Franklin of Clearwater, Florida and two sons, David Franklin of Torrington, Connecticut and Merrill Franklin, Jr. of Mullica Hill, New Jersey. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
