WINTER HAVEN – On Tuesday, December 8th, 2020, Dr. David W. Kenemuth of Winter Haven passed away at his home, surrounded by his family. He was 82. He was born on June 9th, 1938, in Altoona, PA to Gracia Wilson (Kenemuth) of Clarion,

PA, and Ernest Kenemuth of Rew, PA. After graduating from Bradford High School in 1956, he attended the Lincoln Chiropractic College of Indianapolis, IN, graduated with honors by1960, received additional medical education in Antigua, and later earned a doctoral degree in chiropractic. He moved to El Paso, TX and had 2 children there, and 8 other children after moving to Winter Haven, FL. David was an avid traveler, visiting numerous countries around each continent with groups of friends as well as his own family – his favorite destination being Mexico (he is remembered for his relevant fondness for tacos which he would cook for himself and family for many years, who would spread said affinity down to their children). David also enjoyed the popular leisure’s of Florida – specifically Disney World, where his specific love for Donald Duck would develop as they shared the same birthday. He subsequently would always drink coffee from a Donald Duck mug around his house. David also had a love for music – his favorite being from opera singer Andrea Bocelli and singer Celine Dion, both of whom he listened to even on his final days in his home. Most significantly, David is remembered for his compassion, optimism, guidance, and warm smile by his friends, his patients from his chiropractic business, and his family – characteristics of which he maintained to his death.
