Obituary of Angelo Wayne Tucci

Mr. Angelo Wayne Tucci, age 82 a resident of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Good Shepherd Hospice Auburndale surrounded by his family. Mr. Tucci was born July 27, 1939 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania to Angelo and Mary (Simmons) Tucci. He was a resident of Winter Haven since 1984 coming from Pennsylvania, Georgia & Washington DC. Angelo graduated from Purdue University on a football scholarship with a Bachelors in Biology. He retired from The Hillsborough County Treasury Department as an ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms) Agent after several years. He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church in Winter Haven and devoted family man. Angelo enjoyed football, fishing, reading, music and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife - Kathy Herring Tucci; 2 sisters - Rita & Joyce. Angelo is survived by his loving family, daughter - Gina Delaney and husband Kevin of Winter Haven, FL.; son - John Tucci of Winter Haven, FL.; sister - Paula Ivey of TN.; 2 granddaughters - Kaley & Gabrielle. A memorial service will be held 9:00 am Wednesday, April 6th at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 1991 Overlook Dr., Winter Haven, FL. Arrangements By: Steele's Family Funeral Services.
