Obituary of Janice Louise Kerwin

Janice Louise Kerwin 

September 23, 1933 ~ August 12, 2022 

She was predeceased by William F. Mitchell Jr. Loving brother, Stanis Mitchell mother, William F. Mitchell Sr. Father, and James A. Kerwin U.S.N. Ret. Loving Husband. 

She is survived by her only child and his wife Douglas J. Kerwin and Terry Hannon Kerwin of Columbia, TN. Three grandchildren Dustin M. Kerwin of San Diego, CA, Meagan I. Atkins of Winter Haven, FL and Colby O. Kerwin of St. Petersburg, FL and three great grandchildren Gaven Atkins, Landen Atkins and Parker Kerwin.  

Janice was always adventurous and she had an incredible passion for travel, fine dining, bargain hunting and shopping. She also had a gift to gab as a child. Her father said she was injected with a phonograph needle and age didn’t slow her down. A Tennessee auctioneer said he thought he talked fast, however in a three-hour phone call he never got a word in edgewise. She was always strong-willed, religious and charitable. Keep her in your thoughts and recall all the memories we made together and keep her in your prayers.
