I believe I was Leahs first helper. She taught me many things while doing house chores that have stayed with me to this day. My favorite first cousin by marriage to Bill she was a lighthouse, strong, erect, quietly standing there as the dust of our lives played out around us. When Grandma died it was Leah who found a way to replicate her iced tea and fried chicken. Tragedies expose us and Leah knew many, but she never lost faith or joy in its passing. Leah had the ability to hear anything you told her with complete understanding. There was nothing you could say that she couldn't process. It was a gift that I will likely never see again without her in my ear or in front of me. Thank you, Leah, for the many conversations, your kind heart. you will be missed. Linda
