Obituary of Rebecca Cherry Watson

Rebecca “Cherry” Watson went to be with the Lord on February 18th, 2023 at the age of 91 in Seminole, FL.  Cherry was born and raised in Norfolk, VA, and graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Pensacola, FL.  She would marry Robert Brice Watson in 1954 and spend the next 25 years traveling the world, as a military wife, and raising her three daughters: Rebecca Mary (Hoffman), Kimberly Brice (Sells), and Randee Yvonne (Carl), all of whom were fortunate to be by her side when she passed.  Upon retirement she was a long-time resident of Brandon, FL, eventually moving to Seminole in 2013. In addition to her three girls, Cherry is survived by her sons-in-law: Glenn, Scott, and Michael, respective to her three daughters. Cherry was blessed with six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved brother, McCoy Mitchell (predeceased), at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven, FL.
