Obituary of Gloria Alberta Pellom Moore

Mrs. Gloria Alberta Pellom Moore, age 79, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Mrs. Moore was born February 14, 1944 in Bartow, Florida to Fred C. and Lillie Mae (Childress) Pellom. She was a lifetime Polk County resident, graduating from Bartow High School, attended Polk Community College and attended St. Petersburg Community College.  She was the Owner of Gloria Moore Photography, Specialized Consulting Solutions and also worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for (Dr. W.M. Herring, Dr. Harry A. Palo & Dr. Albert Marschall. She was a Southern Belle and Skier for Cypress Gardens for several years. She was the president of the Polk County Dental Assistants and the Florida Dental Assistants. Gloria enjoyed baking cookies, cooking, going to the beach, sea turtles, gardening, butterflies, sunflowers and just being in nature. She was preceded in death by her parents. Gloria is survived by her loving family, husband of 60 years – Marion Moore of Winter Haven, Florida; son – Fred Moore and wife Leslie of Winter Haven, Florida; 2 daughters – Pamela Voigts and husband John of Tampa, Florida and Karen Wilson and husband Clinton of St. Petersburg, Florida; 4 grandchildren – Payton, Logan, Ansley & Ali. . Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, October 6th at Redeemer Church, 1410 Dundee Road, Winter Haven with visitation beginning at 12 noon at the church.
