Obituary of Uldine Hunter

Uldine Hunter, 96 

 

Uldine Hunter of Winter Haven passed away February 4, 2024, due to an illness. She was born in 1927 in Lyons, GA. Her parents are the late T.L. and Annie Lee Powell. She and her family relocated to this area in 1945. She was a homemaker and Telephone Operator for Winter Haven Hospital for 25 years. 

 

Uldine was preceded in death by her husband Henry G. Hunter Jr., parents, brothers Joe Seth Bell, Thomas Lee Powell and Jim H. Powell and sisters Foye Dent, Grace Ganey and Ora Lee Ganey. She is survived by children, Gary Hunter of Winter Haven, Gail Howes of St. Johns, FL, and Greta Timmons of Landrum, SC. She has 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  

 

A burial will follow later at VA Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
