In Loving Memory Of

Ms. Viviana V. Suarez -Prince passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, of cardiac edema at Winter Haven Hospital. Ms. Suarez was a long- term employee of the Advertiser of Polk County, having befriended many during that time. Ms. Suarez is a baptized Christian, having an abiding faith in Jesus Christ. In God's grace, she is now returned to her Lord and Messiah.
Originally born in Havana, Cuba in 1939, Ms. Suarez fled to Florida in 1959 shortly after Fidel Castro invaded her country, declaring Communism. Ms. Suarez graduated from Coral Gables High School, later earning a college degree in interior design. In the 1980s Ms. Suarez became a licensed real estate agent and rental property owner in Columbia South Carolina. Having been the loving mother of only one child, she leaves behind her son, James Tison, now a resident of South Carolina. Ms. Suarez is proceeded in death by her father, Mr. Antonio Santos ("The Boss" as he was affectionately known), formerly of Florence, South Carolina, her mother, Edith Loret Domola Suarez , of San Juan, Puerto Rico, her brother, Mr. Antonio Suarez Loret-de-Mola of San Juan, her aunt, Mrs. Gladys Alexander ("Yayee"), of Lakeland Florida, and her former husband, Donald G. Tison of Winter Haven (who was sadly murdered in 1998).
Ms. Suarez's ashes have been received, and are cared for by her only child: James Tison.
May the continuing journey of Ms. Suarez, my beloved mother, be in happiness forevermore.
